Anastasios Pallatidis was a Famous doctor from Greek community of Vienna. He is a big benefactor of Schools of Sidirokastro that is very rightly celebrated his memory with brilliant and imposing feast the day of Three Hierarches of (30 January).

Anastasios Pallatidis was born in 1800 in the Meleniko and finishing the Municipal school installed itself in Bucharest in the grandfather‘s house Konstantinos Vakaros, which was tradesman there. He was continued his studies and finish the High school with excellently.The famous national teacher Lampros Fotiadis from Ioannina, was appreciating the big wit of Pallatidis and recommended in his grandfather to send him in Vienna in order to study in the Medical School. So much was his record in the letters and the science that he received also doctoral diploma from the university of Vienna. As soon as he finished the study and his specialisation in the hospitals of Vienna, he became assistant of the Baron professor Grager, which was doctor in the royal family of Habsburge. Afterwards the death of Grager the Pallatidis became also Medical regius Progesor.

Simultaneously was named doctor of fourth big city of Vienna place which she maintained for 18 years, up to his death on 26 July 1848. Anastasios Pallatidis were a multidimensional radiating personality, the more important member of Melenikian community in Vienna. He was a man with big intellectual and moral stature with rich patriotic feelings and high ideal helped always with each way his particular homeland the Meleniko . Apart from his medical offer it dealt methodically with the writing tried hard for the education of youth and filled the schools and the libraries with his Greek books. In manuscript his his as well as doctoral diploma they are found in the National Library. As he writes in his will the big donation is for the Greek School of Meleniko, however when in 1913 the Meleniko abandoned with teardrops in the eyes their beautiful and adorable homeland and were installed in Sidirokastro they transmitted the bequests from the school of Meleniko in the High school of Sidirokastro. Up to today it continues this having annual resource from the big donation. In clue of gratitude the authorities of Sidirokastro renamed the High school Sidirokastro from High school Sintjki, as were said initially, in Pallatidio High school and Lyceum and they added front in its entry a bust of Anastasios Pallatidis.
